Help with an urgent foot problem

If you are already a podiatric surgery patient 

If you are registered with the Podiatric Surgery department and have concerns before or after surgery, please contact us.

When you call: 

  • You will be asked for more information 
  • A member of the podiatric surgery team may call you back 

Opening hours: 
Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 4pm 
(Closed on bank holidays) 

 

If you are not registered with podiatric surgery 

If you are not registered with the podiatric surgery department: 

  • Contact your GP surgery as soon as possible 
  • Tell them you have an urgent foot problem 

Your GP surgery should: 

  • Arrange for someone to contact you, or 
  • Offer you an urgent appointment 

 

Out of hours and weekends 

Please note that the Podiatric Surgery Service is not available on weekends or bank holidays. 

If you cannot contact: 

  • Your GP surgery 

Please contact NHS 111

You can: 

Tell them you have an urgent foot problem.

They will ask you some questions and tell you what to do next. 

 

Urgent health concerns and emergencies 

  • For urgent health concerns, call NHS 111
  • For life threatening emergencies, call 999
