Children in Care (CIC) and Adoption Nursing Team
The Children in Care (CIC) and Adoption Nursing Team are a team of Specialist Nurses offering statutory Review Health Assessments (RHA). The team provide a trauma informed, holistic, specialist health service to meet the health needs of children in care including those with an adoption plan and Unaccompanied Asylum Seeking Children (UASC) within the Nottingham City, Nottinghamshire County and Bassetlaw areas.
Our mission is to improve and support the health and wellbeing outcomes for the children and young people to enable them to reach their full potential.
The team works in partnership with a range of professionals including, Community Paediatricians, health, GP's, education, secure unit staff, social care agencies, foster carers, parents, residential staff, social workers, health visitors and school nurses.
Service opening hours
Service opening time 8am-5pm Monday to Friday (except bank holidays)
Appointments can also be offered out of work hours (Monday to Friday) if required.
