Introduction to the EIP Service for Families and Caregivers
We invite you to join our 6-week online programme designed to support families and carers of individuals experiencing psychosis.
Family members, siblings, friends, and other close individuals often play a vital role in supporting someone experiencing a first episode of psychosis.
While the term carer is commonly used, we have chosen to use caregiver to honour the dedication, compassion, and emotional labour this role entails.
Caregivers provide essential, unpaid, and ongoing support during what can be a deeply challenging and emotional time. Psychosis can place immense stress on the entire family and caregiving network. It is often a confusing and isolating experience, and caregivers may feel unsure about how best to help your loved one.
