Only visit your local Emergency Department for serious life-threatening conditions that need immediate medical attention including persistent severe chest pain, loss of consciousness, acute confused state, severe breathlessness, severe blood loss, serious burns or suspected stroke.

How to refer someone to this service

Each Healthy Family Team will be able to offer support and advice to parents and carers with a child less than 19 years who live in Nottinghamshire and for young people who attend a Nottinghamshire school. If the named practitioner is not known please contact the relevant advice line below for the district where the child resides or attends school.
