City North Local Mental Health Team
We are currently based at Marlow House, Waterfront Street.
The Local Mental Health Team is a secondary care level for assessment and treatment of mental health needs.
We are an intervention focused team who will work with you to create a person-centred care plan and review this until your discharge.
We have a multidisciplinary team made up of nurses, doctors, psychologists, occupational therapists, social workers, support workers, peer support workers, and mental health wellbeing practitioners.
We receive referrals from wards, the crisis team, talking therapies, and GPs. We aim to either triage or screen your referral within 24 hours of its receipt and will formulate a plan of care following this. We may signpost you to other services, or we may offer you an assessment to further explore your needs.
