Only visit your local Emergency Department for serious life-threatening conditions that need immediate medical attention including persistent severe chest pain, loss of consciousness, acute confused state, severe breathlessness, severe blood loss, serious burns or suspected stroke.
We provide psychological assessment and intervention for patients with neurological conditions including the cognitive, emotional and behavioural issues that can be related to neurological illness.
Our service is for people aged over 18 with neurological conditions, either together with King's Mill Hospital or specified Nottinghamshire Healthcare services.
Our locations include King's Mill Hospital, where we support stroke inpatients. King's Mill is the base for the Early Supported Discharge Team for Stroke which is provided in patients’ homes across Newark and Sherwood, and Mansfield and Ashfield.
The neurorehabilitation ward is at Mansfield Community Hospital. We are members of the Long Term Neurological Conditions Team serving Bassetlaw and the Community Stroke Team in West Nottingham.
You need to be referred by the stroke or neurorehabilitation consultant from King's Mill Hospital or Mansfield Community Hospital, or be receiving the services from the relevant community teams. We do not accept self-referrals.
The sites are accessible by wheelchair.

Outside of office hours please contact your GP service, NHS 111, or in an emergency go to your local Accident and Emergency (A&E) department.
