Children’s Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy

The service provides Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy assessment and treatment for children and young people who have a disability or long term health condition affecting their movement, co-ordination or ability to engage in activities of daily living.

We provide therapy and equipment programs to help meet the child /young person's needs and work closely with parents and carers and other services involved with the child to provide effective care.

The service may contribute to the Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) process where required, including assessments and annual reviews for children and young people (CYP).

We support the development of EHCPs with a clear focus on the child or young person's aspirations, desired outcomes, and the provision required to meet their identified needs'.
