Children’s Occupational Therapy
We are a team of Occupational Therapists and Therapy Support Workers who provide family-focused occupational therapy for children and young people aged 0-18 years old.
- We work in lots of different settings in the Nottinghamshire area.
- We focus on treating each child as an individual and providing treatment that is evidenced based.
- We work towards helping every child to reach their full potential.
- We work closely with families and other health professionals including paediatricians and physiotherapists.
Our teams Occupational Therapists and Therapy Support Workers are available Monday to Friday 8-5pm.
Children and young people we see
- Children who are not meeting their motor milestones.
- Children and young people with neurological, neuro-muscular, and neurodevelopmental conditions.
- Children who present with neurodiverse conditions who may have a difficulty with engaging in functional activities of daily living.
Please note: The Community Children's Occupational Therapy Service do not accept referrals where a child or young person is not attaining their physical or functional skills primarily due to sensory modulation and processing differences.
