Only visit your local Emergency Department for serious life-threatening conditions that need immediate medical attention including persistent severe chest pain, loss of consciousness, acute confused state, severe blood loss, serious burns, suspected stroke.
The Children Looked After Team
We support and maintain the emotional and mental health needs of children in care in Nottingham City Local Authority.
The service supports professionals and foster carers to meet the emotional and mental health needs of children in care.
Direct therapeutic work is offered to children and young people, identified via the consultation process. We also provide training groups to foster carers.

Accessing our service
Social workers can make referrals to this service. Contact the team on 0115 844 0539. The service is open 9am-5pm, Monday - Friday.

Outside of office hours please contact your GP service, NHS 111, or in an emergency go to your local Accident and Emergency (A&E) department.

How to refer someone to this service
We offer a consultation service which requires the social worker or supervising social worker to refer the child or young person and attend the initial consultation.
