Celebrating success

We are very proud of the achievements of our staff and volunteers and it is important to us to celebrate them. There are many examples of how colleagues have gone the extra mile to ensure they provide outstanding care to our patients.

You can find examples of this below, including individual and teams who have been shortlisted or won national awards. You will also find details of our OSCARS - our staff and volunteer recognition scheme - another example of how we celebrate the fantastic work of our staff and volunteers.

Positive Stars

Each month a 'Positive Star' is recognised within the organisation, someone who has made a real difference to a colleague, team or patients. We want to shout from the rooftops about our amazing colleagues and show how much they are appreciated.

Our positive stars are nominated by colleagues within the organisation for demonstrating extraordinary care and / or compassion, introducing positive change, generating great ideas, fantastic staff or patient engagement, being an inspiration or anything that has made a difference.

All colleagues and volunteers who are nominated receive a certificate of recognition, with at least one member of staff per month being selected to have a visit from a senior leader to recognise their good work and receive their certificate and badge.
