Gender Pay Reports

From 6 April 2017 all employers in Great Britain with more than 250 staff are required by law (under the Equality Act 2010) to publish key gender pay information annually on their own website and on a government website. This information includes:

  • gender pay gap (mean and median averages)
  • gender bonus gap (mean and median averages)
  • proportion of men and women in each quartile of the organisation’s pay structure
  • proportion of men and women receiving bonuses

There is also a requirement to provide a written statement confirming that the calculations are accurate. This must be signed by an appropriate senior person, such as a Director or Chief Executive.

Ethnicity Pay Reports

Currently there is no legal requirement for employers to publish key ethnicity pay information annually on their website and on a government website. However, Nottinghamshire Healthcare has decided to do this voluntarily to demonstrate our commitment to tackling inequalities and to helping create a fair, equitable and inclusive and workplace. This information includes:

  • ethnicity pay gap (mean and median averages)
  • proportion of BME and White colleagues in each quartile of the organisation’s pay structure
  • ethnicity bonus gap (mean and median averages)

It also includes a written statement from the Executive Director of People and Culture confirming that the calculations are accurate.
