Reviewing services that are losing money and develop plans to make them financially sustainable and developing exit plans with partners when this is not possible.

Use digital technology to help patients receive better care while reducing waste and duplication.*

Maximising investment in our Electronic Patient Record (EPR) systems.

Continued roll-out of Electronic Prescribing Medicines Administration (EPMA) solution. 

Procuring and delivering a secure online platform for our patients so they can access their information and communicate with the Trust. 

Testing and deploying Artificial Intelligence (AI) in collaboration with our colleagues. 

 

We will know we are successful if

There are improvements in efficiency and productivity delivered through our Digi-Care programme and the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI).

Keep improving our services, making the most of new ideas, research and productivity to deliver high quality care now and in the future. 

 

We will deliver this by

Developing a Trust-wide productivity approach which enables our services to identify and deliver improvements.*

Continuing our journey towards net zero putting our Green Plan into action.

Pursuing opportunities to either exit from or improve the most critical elements of our physical estate.

Continuously improving our services by learning from research, innovation, and evidence and insights from both inside and outside the organisation.

 

We will know we are successful if

A 2% productivity improvement achieved (from 2027 / 2028). 

Carbon emissions are reduced year-on-year to meet Net Zero target.
